Unable to debug, what am I missing?

Please help!!! stuck for 3 days on this step.
 
newbie to D365 here. Learning plug-in development on CRM sales using a step attached to lead creation. Here are the steps that I followed:
 
Plugin registration clicked on connect
Profiler downlaoded
Expanded plugin in registration tool and selected the step that I have added.
Clicked on start profiling 
Selected persist to entity
Step status changed to (profiled) - Profiling
Attached debugger to registration tooln 
Put a debug point in 1st line of execute method of my step
Went back to D365 sales and created lead
plug in registration tool - debug
in replay plug-in execution dialogbox, clicked down arrow on profile location. 
Empty!!!
 
Any idea what might be the issue? I also notice that when I create a lead the activity is not created. However, this should not matter since I have put debug point on the first line of code. 
 
I am using trial version of D365 Sales implementation. When I created my first plugin and registered it, I realized that I have subscribed to D365 FSA, So I registered for DE365 Sales. I hope this has nothing to do with it.

    I was using trial version, found out that plug-in development against trial version is not possible.
