Does anybody know where and how to edit/customise the subject and body of the test and enablemailbox emails sent by MS Dynamics CRM 2016/365 on premises?
We looked at the email template section but found nothing in there, is there anything to edit in the database directly or how else we can tweak the system so that we can have our custom test in there instead of the default "Test Message"... ?

If you are on-premise, you can update this file on your CRM Server: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics CRM\Server\bin\TestAndEnableMailboxEmailTemplate.html
You may need to restart the server after. Restarting IIS does not work.
as an example, an admin was on a deployment course and received this message once the mailbox was tested and activated

No it is not possible and even if you find a way it will be unspported by MS.
