How to invoice sales order with multiple lines ?

Hello

I use to create SO (sales order) with multiple lines and expected completion date for every milestone. This is very nice to have SO so I can predict the future cash income.

I have issues invoice for the Milestones 1 and 2 (in one invoice) and it was ok

But when I try to issue invoice for the Milestone 3 - the invoice (Posted Sales Invoice document) is showing the 1st (already invoiced ) lines with zero amount and  the third line with requested amount.

I am using Word templates to customize invoices format, and can not remove first 2 invoiced lines from the invoice

Anyone found solution for this problem ?

Thank you

    Try this: docs.microsoft.com/.../sales-how-to-combine-shipments-on-a-single-invoice

If you intend to bill in milestones you may want to check out the jobs module. It has that way of working and can bill per milestone. Bit nicer for services based billing as you skip the SO aspect with shipping

Thank you .. it seems like a solution. I will try it ASAP. The only reason why I wanted to use the SO because hoped it will connect between detailed planning of future cashflow income and actual invoicing .. So my plan was to build nice report in Power BI which showing invoicing status of every contract together with future invoicing schedule ..
