Hello again,

I have items in our on-hand inventory that is showing as 'Ordered' against a counting journal. The counting journal was already posted hence, I am not sure what happen during the process why it seems that AX does not recognized it as posted. The problem is that it affects the actual replenishment of the items because the system thinks there is stock coming in because of the 'Ordered' status. See screenshot below:

usually, once the counting journal is posted it should showed as 'Purchased'. Can you help me please?

try to run the consistency check from  system administration and check the status  again,

if the same issue, try to restore back on a test server and simulate this issue to debug it

    Hi Mahmoud,

I was able to run the consistency check on our test environment, however it did not solve my issue. It is still showing items as ordered in my on-hand inventory. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

Thanks Mahmoud! I guess I have to contact a developer then, I was just hoping to be able to solve this on a System Admin level.

    Hi C Wee,

We had similar issue some time ago with one of our counting journals which was posted and deleted by mistake - therefore it left item with status "Ordered".

In AOT we couldn`t find the journal ID in "InventJournalTable" referenced from item transactions, however there was transaction left in "InventJournaltrans" table with status "Ordered" - once we removed the line it solved the problem.

    Kind Regards,

    V

    Hi Viesturs,

Thank you! That works for me too! Did you have to do counting again for the one you deleted?

    Hi C Wee,

Yes, we did create separate journal with single line for that item as it wasn't showing on stock from previous(deleted) journal and had status "Ordered".

    Kind Regards,

    V
