Period code on Close inventory form

Hi,

When running inventory close, I can specify a Period code. This period code indicates the specific date interval I want to run inventory close for.

My question is: how is this date interval affected by the Close inventory up to field, on the Close inventory form?

    Hi,

    From this period code, only the end date will be extracted. Then it will close/recalculate for all open inventory transactions until that date. So the start date will be ignored.
