Job Scheduling - Production operation starting today afternoon and ending tomorrow early morning

Hello,

One of my client starts their production at 3 PM in afternoon and ends the production process at 2 AM next day. I have setup the calendar in D365 FO with 2 Working times per day as below,

1. 3 PM to 12 AM
2. 12 AM to 3 AM.

Now whenever I am running the job scheduling System is starting the operations at 12 AM instead of 3 PM. System is considering the 12 AM as beginning of the day and not the 3 PM. In my case, I want job scheduling to be done from 3 PM (If I select Forward from Today) and proceeds until tomorrow 3 AM.

Alternatively, To Avoid the scheduling from 12 AM, I just removed the working time period from 12 AM to 3 AM and kept only 3 PM to 12 AM working time. This is also having a drawback because overnight production processes are scheduled until next day afternoon because calendar working time is not available for midnight work.

How to setup Routes, calendar and resources in such scenarios where production scheduling is required (Starting one day and ending another day)?

I kept the calendar 24 Hours open and did the job scheduling with forward from scheduling date parameter. That allows system to schedule the jobs across 2 different days.
