CRM 2011 Out of Box maintenanace box or SQL standrad maintenance jobs??

You can use either CRM out of box or SQL maintenance Jobs, since they are all doing essentially the same thing. If you look at the stored procedure, p_ReindexAll, which is what the CRM Rebuild Indexes job uses, is also setup to only rebuild indexes if there is more than 25% fragmentation and greater than 25 pages in a table
This stored procedure only works in Enterprise Edition of sql. The Online option on the alter index command is the issue. Error #1712
