Dear All,

my user create po with procurement category : building.

how I could know/ check, wheather those procurement category linked/related with fixed asset ? 

or procurement category not linked/related with fixed asset.

usually for task building checking we not using procurement category building, but my user mistaken and we already had invoice from our vendor.

please advice.

    Hello benjamin84,

    There is actually no direct linkage between the category and the fixed asset. You can basically select any category in the PO lines and then create and acquire the fixed asset as long as you specify the fixed asset in the PO lines.

    It might thus a bit difficult to check for which FAs the category has already been used except by checking the FA and PO transactions individually.

    Hello benjamin84,

    In the standard application you have procurement category related standard reports available that help you analyzing for what you spend your money. Have you checked those reports in the procurement and sourcing module?

    They should give you some additional insights.
