How do I determine total quantity of an assembly as well as total number of parts per assembly along with total number of parts sold but not with an assembly

Posted on by 660

I have a very large list of assemblies and have now determined how many of each there were. I now need to determine the total amount of parts per assembly and if there were any parts that were sold as spares and not part of an assembly. I have included an example. I am interested in doing with SQL if possible, but am open to any solution.

I am lost with this query, completely over whelmd on this one.
