Disable HQ Data Encryption

Hi guys! We found out that capicom encryption with HQ client to the server. The payload is capicom encrypted per network sniffer services. The objective is to reduce the overhead when doing a 401 upload of transactions, via clear text since it's a private but slow network. Given our challenged sites have low bandwidth available in remote areas. Is there a way to turn off data encryption?

Any help is pretty much appreciated!

    If you have a few days/months to do, it would be easier to stop communications, send a backup via overnite express and do the update locally, then turn comms back on.  Then schedule updates to be more often to have smaller, faster updates.

    Hi Sir Jeff,

    Thank you for the previous response. When it syncs the detailed transactions, are there settings we can do to at least tweak the volume of data it uploads so that we can,  say,  upload a 5 day sales transactions in more smaller chunks so it can commit each smaller chunks incrementally? Instead of bulk effort and later time out and rollback?

    Not that I'm aware of and I doubt MDR will offer it as an option. Too much a liability issue.

    That's why I don't recommend using a VPN for HQ many times here, its already encrypted.
