Extract data from DOCUVALUE table

Dear All,

We started off storing the document to database and after few months we had switched the document location from database to Archive Directory reason being the DB size is getting bigger and bigger as there are a lot of files being attached on daily basis.

We would like to find out is there anyway we can extract the file from the database and relink it using file system? We have about 22GB of data in the DOCUVALUE table.

Hi DK,

You can have a look how standard logic is extracting a file when you open it. Then with a job or class, you can write logic to loop the table, extract the file and save it in your directory.
