Support Debugger Capture Screenshots for GP error message

Recently installed build 14 of the Support Debugger tool and was trying to capture screenshots when an error message popped up within GP but could not shift focus away from the error message box in order to launch Capture Screenshots either from the Tools menu or using the camera icon.  Also tried Ctrl+s but that didn't launch it either.  If I click OK on the error message then I can launch Capture Screenshots through any of the 3 methods.  Is this normal?  Was hoping that I'd be able to get the error screenshot along with all other open windows.
