Hi all,
I have been installing the Retail SDK component for some users on Ax2012 CU8.
However, due to some adjustment needed, I need to rebuild the project 'Peripherals', but I am facing some issues.
Firstly, when trying to build the project, some errors would arise telling me to change these below 3 dlls;
- DevExpress.Data.v11.2.dll -- to --> DevExpress.Data.v14.2.dll
- DevExpress.Utils.v11.2.dll -- to --> DevExpress.Utils.v14.2.dll
- DevExpress.XtraEditors.v11.2.dll -- to --> DevExpress.XtraEditors.v14.2.dll
Since the V14.2 is available in installed file, I can easily update it.
But then also, it would not Build. I'm getting the below error;
Error 36 Cannot find the interop type that matches the embedded interop type 'Microsoft.Dynamics.Retail.Pos.Contracts.DataEntity.IExtendedLogOnInfoV3'. Are you missing an assembly reference? C:\Users\XXX\Documents\Retail SDK\POS Plug-ins\Services\Peripherals\CSC Peripherals
I went looking for the Microsoft.Dynamics.Retail.Pos.Contracts.DataEntity namespace online and found out on MSDN (doubt it is up to date!) that the V3 is not even available.
Is there a new version of the DLL available?
Even if there is, how is it possible that the version installed would look for a version that is not appropriate?
Can anyone please advise?
