Error "Field 'User ID' must be filled in." creating new User

Hi all!

I'm facing a problem creating a new User with Account Type == Active Directory group:

Saving the new record I get the error: "Field 'User ID' must be filled in."

Looking in the debugger i found out that switching from the method validateWrite of the DataSource table on the form to the method validateWrite of the Table it loses the value of the UserId (on SysUserInfo).

Can anyone of you help me solving this problem?

    Hi Alessia,

    Adding a new user with AccountType "Active Directory User", that particular user needs to be added to Active Directory first. Please confirm that the user is an Active directory user or not.

    That means while adding the user whatever Domain account you are selecting, respective user should be added to that Domain first.

    Hi Alessia,

    Have you tried adding this AD group user with help of the AD import wizard in AX? You don't experience this issue with normal users? Was the Alias field set with the correct value as known in the AD groups?
