Is there a bug logged for incorrect accounts on smartlist for Interco entries?

I wonder if any Microsoft support people are monitoring this forum... the partner technical communities are down where I would normally post this kind of question.

I believe there is a bug in smartlist for Account Transactions on intercompany unposted journal entries.  The account number is shown incorrectly.  What's happening is the account number displayed for any intercompany line item is displaying the account number in the logged-into-company of the account index that the interco account number index.

Example: Two line JE, debit account 12234 in company 1, credit 42422 in company 2.  I'm in company 1.  The smartlist shows 12234 on line 1 as normal but it finds the account index of 42422 in company 2, and shows the account number from company 1 with that account index.

I'm trying to determine if a bug already exists for this and what the status is.  I have a client who just noticed this and it caused a huge issue with their auditors who think the system is not to be trusted now because it's displaying obviously incorrect data.

    So, we're in 2023 now and this is still an issue? Did anyone find any solution for this issue?

    Hello,

    I have a client that just ran into this as well.  They noticed also on Management Reporter when they ran posted and unposted, the transactions are showing up in the wrong accounts, in the wrong company.  This is an issue that needs to be resolved asap!  Were you able to get any resolution?
