Hello

I am trying to find out if there are any links or information pages regarding the new ESEF (iXBRL) for financial companies that need to be set up
starting for business years from 1st of January 2020.

Are there any already created kind of electronic reports in D365 for this purpose?
if yes, I would very much like to have the name of such a report.

I am referring to the information found in here
https://www.esma.europa.eu/sites/default/files/library/esma32-60-204_final_report_on_rts_on_esef.pdf

Thank you in advance for your kind help here.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Eva,

XBRL was supported in prior AX2012 system in the financial/management reporter.

This is no longer the case according to my knowledge.

What is it that you want to report on and export from D365FO?

    XBRL based finance reports?

For which country/region do you need that?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi!

Since I usually am working with both D365 F&O but in a lot of cases also sets up and produce annual statutory reports and tax reports, I wanted to know if there existed any reports in D365 supporting this format.

I was looking for XBRL finance reports for the Swedish country.

Since I today was looking at some information from the Swedish Finansinspektionen I noticed that there seem to be a new demand from 2020-01 for some companies (in the financial sector primarily) to produce reports according to the new (?) ESEF-format/taxionomi.

Maybe this just concerns a very limited number of companies, but I just wanted to see if I had missed were to look for information to setup the reports if existing in D365.

    Best regards

    Eva

    Hi Eva,

I don't know about Sweden. In my home country we have a similar requirement to prepare and submit XBRL based finance reports to a government agency. The 'solution' or workaround that we regularly use here and that was recommended by MS is using a 3rd party system. As a result, companies export their finance data from D365FO to that 3rd party software where they prepare the government reports and finally transfer them.

Recommend that you contact the MS support in your home country to ask how things work exactly in Sweden.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

Thank you very much for this answer. I guess it will have to be done the same way in Sweden.

    Hi Eva,

What might help is the AXUG around the world webinar series.

Sweden is not yet listed but I think on the roadmap for the next video rounds.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

I found out today that one Swedish group reporting system which I have previously been implementing today had a webinar with this new ESEF taxonomy. So it is very new in Sweden and development in progress.
