MS Dynamics SL 2018 Licensing Guide

Hello,

Can anyone tell me where I can locate the licensing guide for Dynamics SL 2018, if one exist at all?

I would like to know if a system administrator for Dynamics should be counted as one end-user or professional user? I have two users in finance and one system admin for Dynamics, should I purchase 2 or 3 license seats?

Dear Ed,

The sysadmin is a user, so I would assume its 3. I do not believe there is a licensing guide for 2018.

I too am unable to find a Dynamics SL Licensing Guide and more specifically the End User License Agreement. I've searched PartnerSource, and the MSFT Licensing pages, nowhere to be found. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Tanya, I never found a license guide for Dynamics SL. I ended up working with our reseller/vendor rep. The rep gave me the price for each of the Dynamics SL modules (e.g. Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Application Server, Inventory...etc.), and you can select the ones you need, remove the ones you don't need, to reduce cost. As for the user license, it's $2000 per professional user and it's based on concurrent usage. Another words, it does not matter how many user accounts you add to the application, the limit is set on the number of users connected to the application database concurrently. Hope this helps.
