Auto End Quarantine Order when started from Sales Orders referance

Hi,

When our team create a return sales order and complete it to return quantities from customer back to our company warehouse, these items going to quarantine warehouse this is the required for these items.

The status of Quarantine Order is Started with reference started with "SO-" where the quarantine order created from return sales order, and need some one to open quarantine orders screen then click on end to remove quantities from quarantine warehouse to original warehouse.

I need to add a code to automate ended the quarantine orders which has a reference started with "SO-" only.

I have Dynamics AX 2012 R3 CU9

any help about that?

Hi Mostafa,

Quarantine is mandatory for these items, but you want to end the quarantine orders automatically? If the assumption is that a return was not opened or used by a customer, then I can imagine you want to check the items on arrival from a vendor, but not on a sales return. I do assume the Quarantine requirement is enabled on the item model group.

For auto completion with a reference from return orders, you can consider a customization (e.g. new batch job).

These items are BOM items (finished products) created from production orders, So by we design item model group of these item for quarantine for checking after production.

On the other hand, these products we sale it by Sales orders to customers, in case we return some quantities from customer again to our warehouses, due to item model group the new quarantine order starts.

I need to end all quarantine orders that have reference started with "SO-" that created from return sales orders.

if you can guide me which class or batch job i can use for automate this?

Hi Mostafa,

You can use some cross references or debugging to find out which class is being executed for ending the quarantine orders.
