Hi
I have a requirement where I need to validate every fields(ie.. every value in the excel) in excel before importing into AX table.
How should I do that?

Hi Dhana,
If you are using the Excel add-in, there will be a validation. If you are using Data Import Export Framework, the validation will be done by the system.
If you need to enable coding to validate it during a manual script, you can use the validateField and validateWrite methods on the table.
Addition to Andre's comment: .. It mainly depends on the kind of Import (Code/Excel addin/DMF) and the kind of Validation (master table relationships, other conditional validations).
