In our company we have never used ROE batch files but we would like to start doing that now. Unfortunately, I have a hard time figuring out where do the fields from the ROE prep report are pulling from so I can test the files. For example in a help manual I found this: "Before creating an ROE, be sure to enter the following information in the Payroll Employee Setup - Canada window: - Mark the Inactive option; - Enter a date in the Date Inactivated field; - Enter a reason for issuing the ROE". If I go to the EE's card I do not see any option to choose the ROE reason. Where can I find this option?
Does anybody know if there is some kind of help manual where I can find these ROE fields explained? I have spent hours combing the internet and these blogs but nothing ....
