Changing permissions of former system admins

Posted on by 65

In my system I have a user that is currently a system admin, non- global admin. However, the user is no longer required in a system admin capacity.

If that user previously set up Plug-ins, is owner of varius workflows etc and owner of various records (result of data migration), do I need to account for any of that before changing the permissions of said user?

I want to redploy as a test account.

    Hey Gavlar!

Definitively, this is something you should see. A few examples:

    - As a sysadmin user has several permissions across all organization. But if this is not going to be the case (for example, a more reduced set of privileges), then some actions (either on the plugin or workflows), might not execute since the permissions are missing.

    - For these kind of situations, perhaps its a best approach to use a non-interactive user or Application user that will handle workflows/plugins.
