We recently were asked by an orphaned GP client to review their account with Microsoft. They are currently licensed for GP Extender Pack even though they never use Manufacturing or Project Accounting. They are also licensed for over 200 Lite users because the plan was to install Business Portal but that never happened. So the bottom line is they are paying so much more on their renewal fees for software they do not use nor do they plan on using. Do they have any recourse to lower their List Price or are they now forced to pay in perpetuity for software they will never use?

I'd recommend calling our MBS Sales Operations team at 1-800-456-0025 as that team handles all the selling of Microsoft Dynamics applications including additional modules, licensing, registration keys, etc., and they would be able to address that question for you, as we don't have that ability here on the Technical Support desk.
