Labor Procurement in MS Dynamics as opposed to SAP Fieldglass ?

Hi,

Had a couple questions to understand the  procurement capabilities that MS Dynamics offer:

  1. I understand MS Dynamics can handle both Direct and Indirect Procurement - Is my understanding Correct ?
  2. Is there something similar to SAP Ariba Supplier Network in MS Dynamics ?
  3. Does MS Dynamics has capabilities for Labor Procurement similar to SAP Fieldglass ?
    1. If not out of the box, are there any add-ons that can help procure Labor ?

    Hi Ambar,

    1. Yes, Dynamics 365 SCM can handle both Direct and Indirect Procurement.

    2. Could you introduce the main feature of Ariba Supplier Network in Sap.

    Dynamics 365 SCM has vendor Collaboration: docs.microsoft.com/.../collaborate-vendors-vendor-portal

    3. Do you mean the labor in procurement or production or project module?

    For #3,

    I meant contingent labor procurement or contractor workforce procurement and ability to collaborate with suppliers for contractor workforce and ability to manage contracts with those labor suppliers - not production. Does MS Dynamics has such a capability OOB or if any addons are available ?

    Essentially, what I am looking for is whether MS Dynamics can replace an application such as SAP Fieldglass.

    Procurement for production would mean Direct Procurement, isn't it ?

    Hi Ambar,

    I can not find the similar feature for labor procurement.

    Procrement for production is one of the direct procurement.
