Hello.

Please I want to update inventory item with some information using integration manager.

But anytime I run the integration.

It gives errors like '(The destination could not be initialized due to the following problem:

could not create Active X component.)'

Later it will say '(The destination could not be initialized due to the following problem:

- The remote procedure call failed. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800706BE))'

I have mapped all the fields.

But I still do not know what went wrong>

Please I need help.

1. Close Integration Manager.

2. Log Off GP and re-login GP then open IM to run the integration.

Note:

1. After logged Off GP make sure the Dynamics.exe is not running in windows task manager.

2. Before running integration, make sure only one GP is currently opened.

Thank you for your response.

I did that but still gives me the same error.

So I went to my internet option and enabled some Active X options.

Afterward I closed IM and launched again and then run again.

It was not giving me the 1st error again but still gives me the second error. which is 'The destination could not be initialized due to the following problem:

- The remote procedure call failed. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800706BE)'

Please I still need help.

In Integration Manager go to Tools-->Option and check the IM mdb path mapped under general tab.

If more than one dynamics.exe is running in window task manager, IM won't integrate transactions into GP. Please check and reply.

The IM mdb is mapped under the general tab I have checked.

Its just one dynamics.exe that is running.

If source and destination mapped wrongly, then you will face same error. Please check your integration source and destination.

Additionally, try to integrate any other new integration like customer, accounts(Do this activity in test company or create only one record and delete the record after it was integrated). If the new integration won't get this error message, then problem is available in your inventory integration.

Other integrations are working except inventory item and payable transactions.

Even item transaction worked very fine.

So, the problem is not in Integration Manager and GP. Please check your item and payable transactions integration(source, destination, destination mapping and query relationships).

If the integration is not too complex you might be better off just starting from scratch. I had to do this yesterday.

May be it is because it is an update not insert. I will check the mapping again.
