Ribbon in the information Form

Hi,

We are in the process of upgrading from 2011 to 2013, When we were in 2011 we had some buttons in the ribbon like share, deactivate, delete, connection, assign etc. In the 2013 environment i am able to see these options in the main form which looks exactly like 2011 but there is another good looking form - "Information", i am not able to find any of these options there.

I am planning to keep "Information" form as the default, but without the options that i had in the ribbon earlier would make it hard to manage as administrator, how to over come this.

    Please help, i have installed the Ribbon workbench tool and tried removing the tool tip but after i do that the tool throws error stating it cannot be blank.

    Hi,

    I dont know why, i was debugging some scripts and i got the command bar on the "Information" Form but no options clickable and the command bar is still not available in main form that came OOB and in the new one that i created using "Save as".

    Hi Alagu,

    I Found out that there is a script that is being reference throwing an error: Uncaught ReferenceError: RetrieveODataResults. But the same code works fine in 2011 is there something that i have to include in 2013 to get this going.

    Yes, we have enable/disable rule based on the role of a user, can you share a link on how to check in developer tool.

    Hi

    Open the CRM in chrome browser and check in the developer tool console, Is there any error.

    Because this kind of error occur when custom JS for enable/disable rule has error in the code. Could you please verify it?

    You can check the link in Pawel's response. Here is my suggestion.

    1. check if you have the similar "ToolTipDesciptionText" issue.

    2. Use developer tool to see is there any error when you lod the form.

    3. export the entity and ribbon solution to check your ribbon XML.

    4. if nothing found, do a backup of your ribbon customization.  Then delete all custom button and custom command.

    5. if still not work, backup your JavaScript and remove all JavaScript to check.

    6. Check with other Browers.

    Hi,

    Looks like your command bar is crashed, it should display all kind of buttons. Do you have any customizations made on the ribbon? Can you reset your command bar using Ribbon Workbench?  I also found that some users had similar problem:
