Migration of Nav Database

hi experts,

so my question is this, I have NAV SQL database which i've moved(or migrated)  to another server. Now i don't know that how my NAV will find that migrated  Database in that server.

i've Nav 2013 R2

    You have to open NAV Administration tool and in that you have to mention Database Server and Database Instance and Database name

    You can also change this file on your server: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\71\Service\CustomSettings.config". Edit with notepad and correct your database path, instance, etc.

    Can i configure my Nav server with Sql aliases if Yes then pls tell me the procedure ?
