Kanban Rules: 'Getting the parent node failed' error

I am getting the following error when I try to select the pre-filters on the kanban rules form:

This started when we updated our product version to 10.0.39

Re-pro steps:

1) open kanban rules: Production Control -> Periodic Tasks -> Kanban quantity calculation -> Kanban rules

2) Select the 'Production flow' filter drop down and choose a production flow:

3) or select the 'Last activity name' filter drop down and choose an activity.

It's unfortunately difficult to say based on the description. I spent some time looking at the code, I can't even find that label text. I wonder if it is a customization that's acting up?

you will have to get a developer to debug the issue (Place a breakpoint in info::add("") and work backwards.

One thing that's worth trying out. Do you still get the error if you cleared your usage data? For example in your test sandbox.
