For some reason, the email field is now not searchable in our Dynamics CRM 2011. I've checked the following:
1) Went into the lead entity, checked the fields and opened up Email. It is marked YES for searchable.
2) Opened up the view "Lead Lookup View' and confirmed that email is in fact a column in that view.
3) Opened up the view "Quick Find All Leads" and confirmed that email is a column in that view.
4) Tried multiple wildcard searches
I can search by email address for contacts and records are returned properly. It is only the lead records that are not searchable by email.
However, as a side note - fields such as job title and business phone are also not searchable in both contacts or leads, so the issue may affect more than just email for leads.
