Production schedulling one route differents lines production

Hello,

I need your advice for the configuration of the routes and that the production planning runs well.

Scenario:

  • I have a route with 5 operations, three for cut and two for assembly
  • Cut process has only one resource group with 2 work centers
  • Assembly have two resource groups (production line) with two work centers each, this resource groups have the same function and capabilities, the variable for assignment is the workload.

How can I configure the route for the planning use only resource group for assembly and don´t combine workcenters for the assembly resources groups?... I need to use job schedulling.

    Hi Abel,

    Are you using AX or D365F&O?

    Are WRC4 and WRC5 resource groups?

    Could give more explanation on "the route for the planning use only resource group for assembly and don´t combine workcenters for the assembly resources groups"?

    Hi Mat,

    I am using D365 F&O... WRC´s are work centers.

    The requirement is the schedule jobs consider consider two options in the same rout, if decide run in assembly line 1 only reserve work centers WRC4 Y WRC5, but if this line is reserved for other production order, the reservation have to consider the work centers for the assembly line 2 (WRC6, WRC7).

    It is no possible do an operation in WRC4 and the next operation run in WRC7, if start in WRC4 the next operatio has to run un WRC5 and vice versa.
