Can I Print Reports to .pdf File?

ReportReport

I'd like to save copies of reports, like timecards, as .pdf files but can't find a way to do so.

The print button throws it to my HP printer and gives me no option to send it to another.  I tried using the Export button to save it as .txt and .pdf and a destination of disk file but no file shows up.  If I search from the start bar, it recognizes the file names but cannot find the files which were supposed to save to the desk top but aren't there.

Any suggestions on how to accomplish this?

If you already have print to .pdf set up as a printer, the "Change Printer Properties" button immediately to the right of the print button on the print preview will allow you to select a different printer than your default.

Spencer, there is no "Change Printer Properties" on the Timecard Report Page and the print manager window that pops up when I click the print button, only gives me a choice to OK or caqncel printing to the default printer, the page range and qty to make and whether to collate. If I create a Purchase Order I have the option to change the printer to .pdf or any other printer I have set up but not on this Timecard Report.

Thanks, in typing that last reply I found the answer I was looking for.  To do what I want, I have to make the .pdf printer the default printer for my computer.  Now every report defaults to .pdf.   I just need to remember to swicth the system default printer every two weeks when I run timecards and then switch it back.

you can try some other image format, or you can convert the pdf to other format.

I do this almost daily. I use a PDF printer driver called Raster edge . Install it and it becomes a selectable printer option.

Now you can create PDFs in any program at all, including Adobe Acrobat reader! Just open a PDF, select print, and specify the page range you want to print and select the Rster edge  printer driver.

I am glad to see that your problem had been responsed so quickly. I am testing with doing with the problem with the help of some 3rd party PDF Printer Drivers. Do you have any idea about it? It is said that this Imaging Document Toolkit is totally manual which can be customized by users according to their own favors. Any good suggation about choosing the related tools? Thanks in advance.

    Best regards,
