Hi there, I am currently testing AX 2012 with the well-known subset or procedures Rod Hansen

https://dynamicsperf.codeplex.com/

I am not able to see scripts or jobs targeting Navision.. is it so?

Anyway, does anyone have some link or tools for squeezing Navision? We have one bigger cluster for different countries and lately performance is falling down

We run Navision 2009.

Thanks for your any input or hint related to

You can also use Client Monitor to find out the exact issues related to wrong coding in NAV.

How about doing re-indexing on important tables on scheduled manner?  How frequently you have scheduled this?

Thanks, althought SQL Profiler GUI is always messing up the server and even Extended Events is annoying the usual workload

Performance Analyzer can be used with NAV as well.

Check Client Monitor, SQL Profiler, which would also help you to find out bad queries and further you can fine tune the same.

Refer following links, which can be very helpful to you.

No, I meant, yes yes Navision and SQL Server works very tight... but, you know, looking over and over again articles or hints for it in Internet and always you get AX stuff.

    Hi Enric,

Actually not. NAV is very close to SQL Server because most of transactions end in SQL Server Procedures.

    Glad I helped you.

Hi Nareshwar, thanks for your reply, the second link is useful althought it is really difficult to find articles Navision<->SQL Server related to, is like Navision were working totally independently of RDBMS.
