"Microsoft Exchange Online" profile accidentally deleted

Hi,

I wanted to connect dynamics 365 with Microsoft Exchange online. When doing this you can go to the settings and select the email profile. like in this document:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/connect-exchange-online

But while configurating i deleted by accident the "Microsoft Exchange Online" profile. is there a way to get this profile back in the list.

Thank you

Norman

    Hi partner,

It doesn't matter. I tried to delete the default "Exchange Online" profile and create a new one, then I followed the steps you provided to integrate exchange with Dynamics 365 and it worked well.

Then you need to create a new one and fix the mailboxes.

You can't get back a deleted record unless you do revert to the most recent backup that was created before you deleted the profile. This of course may undo other things because the backup resets CRM to that point in time.

Setting up a new profile is not hard and should take few minutes if you have the proper role. What you need to do after that which will take sometime is to fix all mailboxes to point them to the new profile and enable them again.
