I need help restricting access to certain windows in GP

I need to restrict access to:

Item History (IV_Item_History or IV_SUM_HIST)  and

Item Transfer Entry (IV_Transfer_Entry)

I have tried the security tasks and role setup and can't seem to find the access restricts or is this in another location

I cannot locate security tasks for these items.  Please point me in the right direction.

    I think I can help with the Item Transfer Entry.  I do not know if this is already assigned to a Task, so I setup our own task and assigned it to this specific task. Within the task, choose product as Microsoft Dynamics GP, type as Series Posting Permission, and series is inventory.  Choose the task "Transfer Entry".  If this is not what you need, you may look at the system default selections under the Role = TRX_INV_002* (Enter Item Transfers).  Sorry that I can't help with the Item History part.

    Refer to second point Search by Resource (Window) Name following blog article for details about setting up security

    You can search by window name in www.gpwindow.com/securitysearch.php to find roles and tasks for the windows or you can use support debugging tool
