How Creating Sample Company?

GP 10 is installed but the Sample company was not installed (don't
know why).

I can run GP Utilitites to creat a NEW company but there is no option
to
create the Sample and the COPY FROM check-box is not enabled because
there are
no existing company's to copy from.

So how can I get the sample loaded?

What account framework did you set up when you installed GP first time round? The account framework must equal or be greater than the framework rquired by the sample company... 3 segments of at least 3, 4 and 2 in size respectively.

There is no reason why you shouldn't choose the maximum acount framework of 10 segments and 66 characters...as each company can have any account format within these limits.

If this is your issue (AND YOU HAVEN'T YET STARTED TO USE GP WITH A LIVE COMPANY) , you can drop the dynamics database through SQL, and then run utilities again. This will then try and create the dynamics database and give you the opportunity to set a new accounts framework.

If the above isn't the issue, are you running GP from the server install? You could try reinstalling GP, make sure you choose Server install, and then run Utilities.
