Hi,

i would like to create an email workflow that will send to the users a reminder for their opportunities. The reminder must be send 5 days before the Est.Closing Date

How can i create this workflow through the processes?

Yes, you can use Wait Condition to achieve this need.

Wait Condition Enables a background workflow to pause itself until the criteria defined by the condition have been met. The workflow starts again automatically when the criteria in the wait condition have been met.

Hi,

You can create background workflow in CRM with trigger as Opportunity record create and Est close date field change. See below image for workflow configuration.

Good Morning,

it seems that something is wrong. the below is how i have create the workflow.

i am receiving an email for Opportunities that are on 25th of June, 23rd of June. they are not 5 days before the close date.

one more question : How this will work? i mean there is a process that is checking the dates? or someone needs to update something in the opportunity to trigger this workflow?

further to that what will be the difference if i add a real time workflow?
