This error is getting thrown at me when importing sales orders from our EDI trading partners. We are using ATP delivery date control for planning but that is tied to the confirmed delivery date. It should not be working with either the requested shipping, receipt, or deadline date.

We need to import all items even if that means they go on backorder.

Any ideas?

Hi FarBank,

Are you using AX or D365 F&O?

You can cancel ATP calculation for SO when importing SO and then manually confirm delivery date.

We are using D365 FO. If we cancel that calculation, that would affect all sales orders correct? Is there a way to limit it to just EDI?

Hi FarBank,

Cancel the ATP control of specific orders when importing SO. You need to contact your developer for help.

Hi,

Same response as in 2020: Do not import using ATP Delivery Date control; rather use "None".

If that does not make a difference, on Account Receivable Parameters, disable this toggle:
