Hi,
We've recently started using the Relevance Search functionality in Dynamics 365.
We're quite happy about it, but there's one thing that really messes up our results at times where it ranks the results in a way that doesn't work for us. I was wondering if anyone could shed a light on this issue, and has any advice for me about the configuration.
Here's an example of our issue.
We have an Account named Vliethoeve. When we search for this account, it's ranked pretty low because the search engine finds accounts where the city is, for example, Beekvliet. This city is mentioned three times on the record as we have three different addresses on an account (visit, post and invoice address). It's the same thing with accounts in, for example, Hoevelaken.
Is there any way for me to search for the exact word Vliethoeve, without having the engine split it up first and then ranking by number of times a partial match is found on a record? I tried with double quotations, but this doesn't seem to work.
The only way I found is to search as vliet+hoeve, but this is very unintuitive.
I really do need the cities as a searchfield as well, so excluding this is not an option.
Hope anyone has any advice, thanks in advance!
Michael
