I am trying to be a sub-grid on contact form based on email from this contact and email to this contact.  I was able to successfully create a sub-grid based on sender but the only other option of email message is sender and regard field, how do I build a email message sub-grid that is associated by "To" field?

Timeline looks promising.  As for the plugin option, my concern would be that if we have multiple contacts within "To" field,  the view based on this custom contact lookup field will only allow one contact to be associate with the email, anyway to address this without building a custom entity as a connector to create a 1:N relationship?

    Hi,

As mentioned in above post, OOB it is not possible to add subgrid to show email related to To Activity party.

You will need to write custom code and create custom lookup field to achieve your requirement.

    Hi Partner,

Actually it is by design, whatever in workflow or power automate, "To" field is unavailable.

And since you want all the emails related to the contact, you could check the emails in the timeline, "From","To" and "Regarding" are all shown in the timeline list.

There is another way, you could use plug-in to check if the "To" value is contact, and if it is, then copy the value to a custom contact lookup field on the email form, and create a new subgrid to show the emails related by the custom contact lookup.

    Regards,

    Leo
