Financial Reporter showing an amount in SEK, but trial balance shows no amount (zero) for same period

As the header implies we can't get a report showing zero for SEK in financial reporter report. It is the retained earnings account 2099 that causes a problem

The UK company (far right) shows -161381,11 SEK for 2099 account

The report in local currency shows no amount (=zero)

Transactions for the account are as follows

Trial balance as per March 31 2023

Account settings (it doesn't make any effect to change to category = Retained earning (29)

Also tried to use Currency translation type = Transaction Date without any effect.

I have the same question (0)

Clarificication. Accounting currency GBP shows no amount for selected period, but it does give an amount for SEK in the financial report.

    Hi Roger Mansson

A few things you need to check for this issue:

    1. Do you have same column definition and row definition for local and reporting currency?

    2. Have you applied any filter in any of the definition?

    3. Do you have any transactions posted in this account till this period? Specially in GBP?

    4. Can you click on Transaction amount and open detailed view to see how many transactions are there?

Following document may help you to understand on currency conversation on MR: cloudblogs.microsoft.com/.../

Please let us know if this helps.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

You can check the transaction detail in the report if has the same transactions.

If not you can refresh data mart in FR.

Thank you for your contribution Billur!

    We have refreshed MR/FR.

We know that account category type RET EARN (id=29) won't include operational transactions for retained earnings account. Pls see response to Jani below.

We have done some more investigations

If we look at year end results we realize that the problem must be, as blog post indicates, Transaction Date method have to be the reason.

Do you perhaps any knowledge in this feature?
