Terminal Services 2012 and Dynamics GP Windows opening Minimized

We are having an issue with Dynamics GP 2013 and Terminal Services 2012 as a published application.  We have a number of users and are experiencing slightly different things on different workstations.  Basically some of them every GP window either opens minimized or behind the window that you are currently on.  Confusing and frustrating.  Then we have other workstations where it is pretty much behaving as normal.  What could be causing this.  They are not experiencing in anything but GP.  Any ideas are welcome.

    Is the only resolution for this problem is to upgrade the desktops from 7 to 8?  We just finished deploying an RDS solution on Windows Server 2012 and GP 2013 and are experiencing the same problem.  The client wanted to move off the GP web client do to the instability with network disconnects and had become accustomed to the Citrix solution for GP.    They find citrix to be faster and more reliable to the GP Web Client and more forgiving to small network disruptions.   We pushed forward off the GP Web Client and are in the process of evaluating RDS for GP 2013 and are running into this issue with the windows losing focus.   We are basically trading one problem for another.   This is a large organization and they aren't likely to jump to a new OS without significant pains.

    It appears the fix is the known issue with server 2012 R2 and windows 7 running version 7.1 or remote desktop. We need to upgrade the computers to version 8.1.  We have tested on a couple of machines and it resolves it.

    You might want to take a look at this article.  It mentions a number of ways of correcting this issue.  It might be a citrix based article but a lot of the suggestions are relevant to TS

    Was this posted in the Partner forums as well today? This is really a problem with Windows not GP. We have similar issues reported on Server 2008 and R2 which were resolved by hotfixes for the server and client machines. Have you checked on the Windows forums to see if they are aware of this?

    These are great but are not the issue here.  We are thinking this is a known issue with server 2012 R2 and windows 7 running version 7.1 or remote desktop. We need to upgrade the computers to version 8.1.  We are testing it now.  

    The machines not working almost useless running GP with the issue, it is not a sporadic thing with a log off back on or dual monitors.  These windows actually open for the first time minimized or behind the window the user is currently on.  You have to go hunting for each window.  Just signing on is a pain.  

    Will post back if the issue is the above.  We are not positive it is yet.
