Cannot qualify lead to create an opportunity: "No Records Found, 0 Available"

For some reason my Lead --> Opportunity business process flow no longer works. When I try to Qualify or "Move to next stage" to an opportunity while on the lead page, I receive this problem:

Any things I can check to see why it is not creating the Opportunity anymore?

Or why it is searching for an opportunity before creating it?

When you click on the Qualify button does it give you an error or it just does not do anything? I see the same thing in the business process flow itself but once I click on Qualify it moves to the next stage and creates the new opportunity. Did anything change since the Qualify button worked? Were there changes to the form to remove any of the out of the box fields since it stopped working or were you upgraded?

Please check if the user has create permission on an opportunity entity.

Looks like the qualify button does work! I didn't readily use this option cause there were some other issues (one of options in a two choice option set didn't work! It would go blue and say I hadn't filled in the required field..).

I know the "Next Stage" button used to work, was this intentional in a recent update or something?

Looks like the qualify button does work! I didn't readily use this option cause there were some other issues (one of options in a two choice option set didn't work! The option "existing" (in contrast to "new") would go blue and the system would say I hadn't filled in the required field.. I just created a new field and it no longer has this issue.)

The Next Stage button will still work if you have an existing opportunity with the originating lead field set to that lead but it will not give you a list of all opportunities or to create a new one. I verified in an RTM version of CRM 2016 that the behavior is the same as the most recent update for CRM 2016.

In the scrrenshot, you cannot see any opportunity as you might not have qualified this lead. When you click on next stage, list of existing opportunities (related to this lead) are made available.

Hi,

When you use OOB Business Process flow on lead record, you have to qualify the lead before you move to the opportunity record. Also, in your screenshot you mentioned about Select Record. This is Business Process Flow's default behavior. It is useful in below scenarios.

E.g. If you are on opportunity, and your next stage is quote. So, as we have quotation grid on an opportunity form, there are chances that users create quote from grid. So, when user clicks on next stage, it will show the record created through sub grid and also give an option to create new.

I tend to recall in CRM 2015 online, you could just click "Next Stage" to qualify, create the opportunity, and be in the next stage. I may be mistaken, but regardless -- you must click "Qualify" now! Thanks for the help everyone.

Hi I am facing a similar kind of issue where if I use the OOB Lead to Opportunity Sales Process it works fine but with custom Business Process Flow it doesn't work. Any ideas?

Even I am looking for this same issue. Clicking on the Next button on Qualify, the lead should get qualified but it shows a lil box as shown below. Also, it's not showing existing opportunities related to the originating lead. If you have resolved this issue, please lemme know.
