Purchase Return order - Pick location

Hi,

I am processing a purchase return order. While doing the process, all goes well except that I do not get an opportunity to enter / select the specific location and license plate to pick the item. The system randomly picks the item from any location and any license plate from the auto-selected location.

Please guide me how to set up the parameter/s so that I can select the location and license plate for a purchase return order using both standard process and advanced WMS.

    Hi Neeta,

    If I understand you correctly you are processing a purchase return order i.e. picking goods in warehouse to be send back to vendors.

    If this is the case I want to know where you are looking for locations and license plate coming pre filled as using WHS (Advance warehouse) as it is not supported for purchase order returns.

    Do you mean sales order return order?

    Kindly share more details.

    The only way you can process a vendor return order is by using negative line on the purchase order and manually entering dimensions on the purchase order lines. Another option is to use pick form on the purchase order but you cannot use advance warehouse to process them.

    Creation of return order of purchase type is another option but that also does not support advance warehouse.

    Thank you Sagar. I have found the answer to my query. One needs to enter the quantity of reservation items in under the Reservation column against the location on the 'Reservation' form instead of clicking on Reserve lot.
