PA employee expense not posting to PM

Posted on by 682

Employee expenses entered through Project Accounting (or PDK or Business Portal) have suddenly stopped posting to PM or GL.  The PA Employee Expense Inquiry shows the transactions and the posting journal looks correct, but the transactions are not in PM.

We are on GP2013 (12.00.1538  SP2)    It seems this started happening once we applied the year end update, but not confirmed.

Anyone else seeing this?

Kemal, this is the correct information.  As soon as I saw this, I knew it was right.

Well done KWJ3 - the power of the community stricks again.

i believe the script you refer to is the following:

update PmaExpenseReportConfig set AutomaticProcessing = 0
update PmaTimesheetConfig set AutomaticProcessing = 0

NOTE:  set 0 for OFF and 1 for ON

Kemal, we have had the same problem and for the life of me I can not remember the table to fix this.  I am posting this in the hope that someone in the community will remember.

There is a table in PDK or PA that sets the POST TO and POST THRU option for the module.  It is either a 1 or 0

This was or is a known issue that happens often at the time of an upgrade - little patch updates should not effect the table - but we have had it happen to the same client a number of times, but I can not find in my personal notes the solution.

Hoping someone in the community will recall the table name.
