How to add second data source to entity?

I have tried 2 things- first I tried to add a data source to an existing entity in my extension. However the context menu does't have an option to allow me to add a 2nd table as a data source.

Second, I tried to create a new entity from scratch. I am able to set the primary data source but unable to add more data sources. The option to 'add data source' is there but greyed out.

How can I add multiple data sources to either a newly created entity or an existing entity I am extending?

I have the same question (0)

You can not add datasource at root level in extension. See below image, You can add datasources on datasources which are already present in the entity. When you create entity through wizard specify primary datasource and then add data sources you want manually. You can not add multiple datasources in a wizard.

There can be only one root data source but you can add child data sources to it.

    Hi Tayapr,

As mentioned above, there can be only one root data source.
Also, when you create an entity, using "Add data source", it is also shown only as a child level.

And it can only be used when your primary data source has Relations. Your "table1" should not be set, so it will be grayed out.
