Hi Nav Family,
I want to implement Platform upgrade provided by microsoft as CU67 to solve the security vulnerabilities existing in NAV.
I want to know if there is a way to verify that the update is successful and the vulnerability is addressed and no longer exist.
Thank you for all the help in advance.
Regards
Thank you Duilio for your answer :)
I have blogged extensively about this here community.dynamics.com/.../on-premises-dynamics-365-business-central-and-dynamics-nav-vs-cve-2022-41127-all-you-need-to-know.
If you deploy the platform, then you are automatically safe since the security vulnerability have been blocked / erased. There is no way that Microsoft could provide you how to hack your system to see if this cannot be hacked nor the component that are affected. It is a contradiction and also expose more this vulnerability.
Tattoo also in mind that NAV 2016 is out of mainstream support since 2021 and it would be better to discuss an upgrade to the latest version with your customer / partner.
