iFrame webresource - cannot open SharePoint webpage

I have added an html webresource which is in the sitemap.

Specifically:

<html><head><meta><meta><meta><meta><meta><meta><meta><meta><meta><meta></head><body onfocusout="parent.setEmailRange();" style="overflow-wrap: break-word;"><iframe src="">https://www.bing.com" style="height:1500px;width:1500px;" title="Iframe Example"></iframe></body></html>

This works as expected and opens Bing.

But if I change the web address to something else it states "refuses to connect".  I would like to connect to our SharePoint, but cannot even get https://www.google.com to work.

Is there something I am missing?

    Hi Scott Colbourne,

    Unfortunately, per MS: "IFRAMEing content that is behind an authentication boundary is not supported through web resources or Power Apps component framework." (src: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customerengagement/on-premises/developer/use-iframe-and-web-resource-controls-on-a-form?view=op-9-1)

    You said that you are wanting to connect to your SharePoint in the iFrame. Can you explain more of what you're trying to accomplish as that might lead to a possible alternative?  Also, you are aware that D365 connects natively to SharePoint, right?

    Yes, thank you we have a default SharePoint site for document storage and use this.

    This additional url is to simply show another Sharepoint site where we store documents and to be able to get there directly from Dynamics.

    I could just add a URL to the sitemap, which would open as a separate tab.

    But was hoping to have a sitemap item that would show the actual site within Dynamics.

    Unfortunately, this isn't available yet in the Power Platform based portion of the D365 cloud.  It is for F&O (and related solutions like Project Ops and such).
