Purchases Transaction Entry Copy and Pasting issue - 404 error

I am having problems copying and pasting information into the description window of the payables transaction entry. CTRL V doesn't work but Pasting from the mouse does. A 404 error occurs when pasting using CTRL V. Can you please tell me how to get around this issue.
