Where does Order Confirmation ID gets saved in D365 Retail HQ after the sales order on eCommerce website is concluded. Not able to find out the order confirmation ID shown to the customer after payment is done on eCommerce website in Online Sore Transactions enquiry form available under Retail and Commerce module.

I have the same question (0)

    Hello Kumar159,

The confirmation ID gets saved to the RetailTransactionTable in HQ, Column name: ChannelReferenceID

You can usually get a good idea of where things are saved by right clicking on the field in question and taking a look at the Form information:

    I hope this helps,

I know this is an older question, but I am experiencing a similar issue to the original poster. Where can we find this channel reference id???

If you navigate to all sales orders and pull up a sales order, the channel reference ID is not on the lines or the header. If you pull up a customer and pull up historical sales orders, the channel reference ID is not on the lines or header.

The problem is, the channel reference ID is what a customer is going to use when calling in to a CSR. This channel reference ID needs to be front and center on all sales order headers. Where is it buried?

Additionally, from the Customer Service screen, we have the option to search by Keyword, Sales Order, Purchase Order, Phone Number, Customer Account, Customer Name, Email Address, Check Number, RMA Number, Invoice, Business Account, or Loyalty card.... but no Channel Reference ID?! This is the main confirmation number a customer will call in with and should be the #1 item we can search by.
