Hi folks,

We brought FnO perpetual licenses and they never really used it as we did not go live. Now we want to implement Business Central on premise.

Would we be able to convert the license to Business Central Essentials and Team members without buying new one?

That is more a technical forum than a sales one.

I would recommend you engage with sales team in your local Microsoft subsidiary to find out if this is possible or not.

Had a prospect looking to move from legacy version of AX to BC. At the time MSFT we’re suggesting a credit for trading in the license but it was old style on prem perpetual licensing.

I’d assume you’re not dealing with the partner the F&O implementation failed with, otherwise they would have answered this. If you get a BC partner to look into this on your behalf they can deal with MSFT.
