DYNAMICS 2015 - Login from Dexterity - Test mode failed

I updated my first Dexterity dictionary from v2013 to v2015 using standard update procedure we always follow for updating custom dictionaries from one version of Dynamics to the other. I used Visual Source Safe to update, it was updated fine with no errors.

I opened the new Dex14 dictionary and when I go into test mode , it immediately gives the below error:

"

Unhandled script exception:
SCRIPTS - data area

EXCEPTION_CLASS_SCRIPT_MEMORY"

If I click on Ok, it opens the Dynamics login window, with the topmost field :

Server blank and I cannot even type the Server name in that field. This prevents me from Continuing on and logging into Dynamics .

    The suggested actions above work, but I was still getting the error Unhandled script exception:

    SCRIPTS - data area.  The reason I was still getting the error is because I ignored some compile errors related to a script called in the startup script.  I wanted to test something else first.   When I commented out this code section in the startup script the error no longer appeared.

    Thanks a lot. That helped fix it. Also for the benefit of others, after I copied this DLL : “GPDWIN32.dll” from the Dynamics to the Dexterity folder

    I also had to eventually copy the following DLLs from the Dynamics GP 2015 folder to the Dexterity folder:

    Microsoft.Dynamics.GP.BusinessIntelligence.Homepage

    Microsoft.Dynamics.GP.BusinessIntelligence.Homepage.Framework

    Microsoft.Dynamics.GP.BusinessIntelligence.BIReportDeployment

    Microsoft.Dynamics.GP.BusinessIntelligence.BusinessAnalyzer.Lync

    Copy GPDWin32.dll from Dynamics GP folder to your Dexterity folder and this will resolve this issue (Also copy Dex.ini file from Dynamics GP Data folder to Dexterity Data folder)
